Worldpay's Global Business Resilience organization is seeking a high caliber, entrepreneurially-minded Business Continuity (BC) / Disaster Recovery (DR) Analyst Specialist who enjoys making a difference in a high growth company. The BCDR Analyst Specialist will have a passion for impactful global operational resilience planning along with the desire to relentlessly champion best practices in a high-volume, dynamic environment. This role will help lead the execution of the Disaster Recovery program across the global organization. The program includes disaster recovery planning, IT risk assessment, disaster recovery exercises and other ongoing initiatives to enhance IT recoverability capabilities. What you will Own: As the Recovery Analyst Specialist, you will manage the continuous execution and enforcement of Loss of Technology / Information Technology Disaster Recovery (ITDR) components of the Global Business Resilience policy, standards and procedures for all Worldpay information technology systems in support of the program strategy and directives. In this role the individual will work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that standardized methods and procedures are employed to execute efficient handling of all IT DR in order to minimize the impact of technology disaster incidents. Responsibilities Conduct Business Impact Analysis (BIA) to assess recovery requirements verses recovery capabilities and develop strategies to mitigate significant gaps; provide guidance and support to the business in the development and documentation of risk, issue, and control descriptions and remediation plans Develop and execute annual disaster recovery program including Technical Impact Analysis (TIA), Business Continuity Plans (BCP) Disaster Recovery Plans (DRP) and full facility testing; assess and improve the BC/DR program by evaluating governance models, risks to technology services, and disaster recovery processes and procedures Work with the CIO and CTO organizations to help drive the DR transition program initiatives Partner with IT and business stakeholders to evangelize and drive resilient application architecture design Ensue that the organization can monitor and manage threats and risks to availability, respond, recover, and restore effectively in line with corporate priorities Facilitate After Action Reviews following an incident or exercise to assess the response effort, identify lessons learned to be incorporated in the plans, enhance response capabilities and report findings and recommendations to the appropriate business team Lead on the development and maintenance of a Disaster Recovery plan and runbooks for stated scope business critical applications business line Conduct and report on variance analysis findings between business requested application dependency Recovery Time Objectives (RTO) and established ITDR applications RTOs to ensure alignment between recovery capabilities and requirements Work with the IT technical staff to ensure that disaster recovery solutions are adequate, in place, maintained and tested as part of the regular operational life cycle. Schedule and lead assigned BC/DR exercises. Define, develop and deliver training and preparedness regarding IT DR processes. Monitor the deployment and changes of applications and infrastructure for impacts to Disaster Recovery-related contingency planning Guide and provide work direction to IT subject matter experts as their roles pertain to Disaster Recove
