What You Will Do

The Sr. Director of Internal Audit leads a team that gets deeply involved in operational and financial projects to raise awareness of and proactively address compliance requirements. This role facilitates timely evaluation and conclusions on risks and controls, and mentors staff competencies for career development. The role manages a small, high-performing team of under 10 employees, complemented by vendors and consultants, to deliver a robust and value-driven internal audit program. As the Sr. Director, you will have an integral role in management's internal control, risk management, and governance processes; with a primary focus on the effectiveness of financial reporting internal controls, compliance with other laws and regulations, and the identification of operational and financial risks to support the company's strategic objectives.

What Skills & Experience You Should Bring

Minimum of 12 years of progressive experience in internal audit and public accounting, with at least 7 years in a leadership role. Significant experience with SOX compliance for a publicly traded company. Strong knowledge of internal audit standards, risk management practices, and SOX requirements.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; CPA, CIA, or equivalent certifications.

Advanced degree (MBA or MS) is a plus.
