They are currently looking to expand their team and are seeking motivated and dependable individuals to join their crew.The Flower Bed Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring that the flower beds of our clients are well-maintained, healthy, and aesthetically pleasing. The role involves tasks such as weeding, pruning, mulching, and inspecting for proper irrigation, all while maintaining a high standard of care. The technician will be expected to work outdoors in various weather conditions, managing flower bed maintenance projects with attention to detail and a commitment to customer satisfaction.Pay: $17 to $25/hour, depending on experienceSchedule: Full-timeEssential Functions & Duties:Weed flower beds regularly to maintain a neat and tidy appearanceApply mulch to flower beds to help with weed control, moisture retention, and aesthetic valuePrune and deadhead flowers, shrubs, and other plants to promote growth and healthInspect plants for pests and diseases and report any concerns to the supervisor for further treatmentAssist in planting seasonal flowers and plants, ensuring proper soil preparation and planting techniquesWater plants as needed and ensure the irrigation system is functioning properlyMaintain and clean all equipment before and after useAssist with flower bed design and layout when neededCommunicate with clients to ensure satisfactionDocument work performed and reported any issues or suggestions to the supervisorQualifications:Previous experience in landscape maintenance or gardening preferred, but not requiredKnowledge of plant care, including pruning, fertilization, and pest control preferredAbility to safely use gardening tools and equipment, such as pruners, shears, hoes, and shearsStrong attention to detail and ability to recognize plant diseases and pestsPhysical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs and bending for extended periodsReliable, punctual, and able to work independently and as part of a teamAbility to work in varied weather conditionsValid driver’s license and reliable transportationGet in touch!
