Equipment Quality Assurance Specialist | Competitive Wages - DOE

Monday-Friday, Day Shift

We are seeking a detail-oriented, quality-focused individual to join the team at a well established manufacturing company in the Algona, IA area. A skilled Equipment Quality Assurance Specialist is needed to perform inspections and ensure quality compliance across equipment, materials, and parts in the production of state-of-the-art manufacturing equipment. Responsibilities:

  • Inspect and assess equipment parts, machine shop parts, and supplier-sourced parts for quality and compliance.

  • Inspect raw materials and honed tubing, documenting findings.

  • Identify, record, and document discrepancies, following up for resolution.

  • Develop, update, and implement quality procedures (EP plates).

  • Calibrate measuring instruments to ensure accuracy.

  • Document equipment shipment loading through photo/video for proper handling.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma (or equivalent); technical training in Quality Assurance, Engineering, or related fields is a plus.

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Ability to interpret technical documents, blueprints, and manuals.

  • Basic knowledge of equipment inspection and safety standards.

  • Experience using measuring instruments for inspections and calibration.

  • Proficient with MS Office Suite and familiarity with data or document management systems.
