This is a contract with a great organization. As a contractor for Smith Johnson, you are eligible for medical, dental, life, disability. Smith Johnson pays for 70% of your medical and dental and 100% of life and disability. The contract is also eligible for PTO/holiday accrued monthly. You are also eligible for a 3% retirement matching plan. Smith Johnson believes in taking care of our contractors.

Job Description:

This position is intended to support the church's temples, visitors' centers, historic sites, and other entities through shipping and receiving of needed audiovisual equipment and parts to support the mission of the church. The job candidate will interface with inventory tracking software and Microsoft tools to work to fulfill shipment requests and receive equipment for these church entities. An eye for detail and careful inventory management and organization is a must. Knowledge of proper shipping documents and paperwork, as well as project coordination and interfacing with other team members and project managers is required. Some heavy lifting may be needed daily. Assembly and production of equipment and parts may also be required at times.

* Responsibilities:*

• Coordinates and executes inbound and outbound shipments using inventory and shipping software, completes shipment scheduling, and generates related paperwork. Provides visual inspection of product to be received
• Utilizes Microsoft Teams to communicate, coordinate and update the status of various shipments and receipt of equipment
• Manages administrative functions including phone and Microsoft Teams communication, filing paperwork, and interface with Microsoft Excel to track and resolve order discrepancies

* Qualifications:*

• High School Diploma/GED required
• Two-year college degree preferred
• Three to five years' experience in a logistics or logistics-related role
• Able to interface with computer programs including Microsoft Office
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds
