Northrop Grumman is seeking qualified and motivated professionals for the role of Supply Chain Planning Specialist with experiences in supply chain management and/or related fields (including business and financial planning, contracts administration, project management, logistics, and manufacturing).
This role is hybrid/onsite in Linthicum MD.
The Supply Chain Planning Specialist responsibilities will encompass:
Providing support to the program team to evaluate material and equipment requirements throughout the life of the program
Understanding the breadth of the supply chain management scope (including materials management, procurement, subcontracts, material finance, and supplier relationship management)
Developing, coordinating, and executing monthly material forecast planning and tracking.
Planning and coordinating program requirements
Monitoring and establishing material inventory
Addressing supplier capacity and/or production issues
Evaluating suppliers and noting key performance indicators
Candidates must be able to make sound decisions in a timely manner, display strong interpersonal skills, and have an agile perspective of compliance protocol mandated by regulated industry.
Basic Qualifications Supply Chain Planning Specialist:
Bachelor's degree witha minimum of 2 years of supply chain, general business, finance, sales, or educational experience, or master’s degree with a minimum of 1 year of supply chain, general business, finance, sales, or educational experience
Proficiency with Microsoft system application tools
Experience in a manufacturing and/or repair depot environment
Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret level security clearance
US Citizenship is a prerequisite.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in Supply Chain process strongly preferred
Experience interpreting engineering drawings
Experience in proposal roles and responsibilities a plus
Experience in SAP (MES) (or related)
Experience working with radar related technologies
Material management experience
Experience with cost, schedule, variance reporting
People leadership and familiarity with DOD Operations

Salary Range: $70,600 - $105,800
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
