Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Production Planner to join their team. As a Production Planner, you will be part of the operations department supporting various teams. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Production Planner
Location: Virginia Beach, Virginia
Pay Range: $55,000 - $89,000
What's the Job?
Prepare, revise, and schedule orders daily for assigned commodities, minimizing downtime.
Maintain adequate supply levels while managing inventory targets effectively.
Develop and cultivate positive relationships with suppliers, customers, and peers.
What's Needed?
Proven experience in production planning or a related field.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret production statistics.
Excellent interpersonal skills for effective communication across departments.
Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems.
Ability to engage in conflict resolution and foster a collaborative environment.
