Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician for our 2nd and 3rd shift openings. This role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining highly technical and automated equipment including fillers, case packers, palletizers, process systems, ammonia refrigeration equipment, high-pressure boilers, and air compressors.
Responsibilities
Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain highly technical and automated equipment.
Work with equipment such as fillers, case packers, palletizers, process systems, ammonia refrigeration equipment, high-pressure boilers, and air compressors.
Handle 480V, single and three-phase, low voltage controls, PLCs, VFDs, hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, sensors, switches, photo eyes, etc.
Possess strong electrical background in Industrial Electrical Controls (Frequency drives, PLCs) and mechanical abilities.
Work with PLCs, including SLC 500, PLC 5, and Logix 5000, for troubleshooting and program understanding.
Understand electrical schematics and documentation.
Be familiar with conveyors, palletizing equipment, case packers, pumps, and gearboxes.
Maintain utilities such as boilers, air compressors, ammonia refrigeration, and waste water systems.
Work in a team environment with good decision-making skills and self-motivation.
Essential Skills
Electrical and Mechanical Maintenance experience (ideally 5+ years).
Knowledge of PLCs and troubleshooting PLCs.
Reading blueprints or schematics.
Running conduit.
Possession of own tools.
Strong electrical background in Industrial Electrical Controls (Frequency drives, PLCs).
Hydraulic and pneumatic experience.
Maintenance on fillers, case packers, palletizers, process systems, ammonia refrigeration equipment, high-pressure boilers, and air compressors.
Understanding of electrical schematics and documentation.
480V 3 phase troubleshooting and wiring.
Low voltage controls.
VFDs and servos.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $66560.00 - $87360.00/yr.
