Description
Building wire harnesses for a brand new product Help develop better SOPs for new products and work with the development team to identify areas of improvement in the process Manual data documentation process
Follow technical instructions for wire processing, cutting, soldering, and crimping/stripping wire. Maintain an inventory of various parts and tools used in the assembling process. Assemble electrical components.
Additional Detail: Wire Harness Assembly: Responsible for assembling wire harnesses according to technical specifications. This includes connecting wires, cables, and connectors to create functional harnesses used in various electronic systems. Quality Control: Inspect completed wire harnesses for quality, ensuring proper connections, secure crimps, and adherence to safety standards. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of assembly processes, including part numbers, quantities, and any deviations from standard procedures. Collaboration: Work closely with other team members, engineers, and supervisors to meet production goals and maintain a smooth workflow. Work directly with development team to help them create more efficient wire harnesses and improve process. Safety and Compliance: Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Formal Job Description: • Construct components, subunits, or simple models or adapt standard equipment • Follow specific layout and scientific diagrams to construct and package devices and subunits of equipment • Conduct various tests or experiments which may require modifications in test setups or procedures as well as subjective judgments in measurement; select, set up, and operate standard test equipment and record test data • Extract and compile a variety of engineering data from field notes, manuals, lab reports, etc.; process data, identify errors or inconsistencies; select methods of data presentation • Assist in design modification by compiling data related to design, specifications, and materials which are pertinent to specific items of equipment or component parts • Develop information concerning previous operational failures and modifications • Perform assignments that are not completely standardized or prescribed • Select or adapt standard procedures or equipment, using fully applicable precedents • Receive initial instructions, equipment requirements, and advice from supervisor or engineer as needed; perform recurring work independently; other work is generally reviewed for technical adequacy or conformity with instructions

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.00/hr.
