Job Description
The Quality Tech is responsible for walking the production lines and ensuring products are within proper temperature ranges. This role involves checking for errors and mistakes, assisting in production when needed, and being flexible to learn new tasks. Attention to detail is crucial, as the role includes keeping track of orders, auditing them, and documenting observations. The position requires lifting up to 40 lbs throughout the day and working closely with line leads to ensure all practices are followed. Additionally, the Quality Tech will walk the floor to identify safety issues and conduct audits accordingly.
Responsibilities
Walk the production lines and ensure products are within proper temperature ranges.
Check for errors and mistakes in the production process.
Assist in production tasks as needed and be flexible to learn new tasks.
Keep track of orders and ensure they are audited accurately.
Lift up to 40 lbs throughout the day.
Document orders and observations meticulously.
Work with line leads to ensure all production practices are being followed.
Identify safety issues on the floor and conduct audits accordingly.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
6 months of similar QA experience is preferred.

Work Environment
The work takes place in a food production environment that is air-conditioned. Employees must wear a hair net, lab coat, and beard guard if applicable. Masks are required for all positions. Most production line workers will be in cooler environments and will need to stand for the entire shift.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Le Center, Minnesota.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $29.00/hr.
