As part of the SIUE School of Engineering, the Department offers an ABET-accredited B.S. degree program in Computer Science, as well as B.A. and M.S. Computer Science degree programs. - A Ph.D. in computer science or related area is required. ABD candidates may be considered.
- All applicants must have a demonstrated interest in teaching and mentoring in computer and cybersecurity, at both the undergraduate and graduate level.
- Applicants must have a demonstrated interest in developing a quality research program and in attracting external research funding.
