The community you’ll be caring for: 1055 SAXON BLVD, Orange City, 32763

The role you ’ll contribute :

Assists technologists and provides support for the imaging department.

The value you’ll bring to the team:

• Assists technologists in positioning patients for radiology procedures

• Follows radiation/magnetic field safety procedures and guidelines

• Assists with room turnover and restocking of supplies

• Informs patient of their destination. Communicates with Monitor techs and Nursing staff when transporting patients. Identifiespatient whereabouts on patient transport logs. Communicates with requesting department of any delays and cancellations

• Demonstrates the knowledge and skills for age-specific factors necessary to effectively treat and care for patients of all ages (neonate/infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatrics)

The expertise and e xperiences you’ll need to succeed :

Minimum qualifications :

• High School Education or equivalent

Preferred qualifications:

• Associate's degree or Technical degree in a related field, or combination of High School degree and related experience
