Job Description
The individual will be involved with the integration and mechanical assembly of complex medical machines used in hospitals across the United States. The role requires the use of various hand and power tools to perform assemblies, as well as the ability to read and follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and work instructions. The candidate will align, calibrate, and execute different test methods of varying complexities, while maintaining accurate records and adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) with a focus on quality and safety.
Responsibilities
Perform mechanical assembly and integration of medical machines using hand and power tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, torque wrenches, strippers, and drills.
Read and follow SOPs and work instructions to complete assemblies.
Align, calibrate, and execute various test methods.
Maintain accurate records of all assembly activities.
Execute work orders to ensure on-time completion.
Follow GMP practices, prioritizing quality and safety.
Essential Skills
Experience with mechanical assembly (minimum 6 months).
Proficiency in using hand and power tools, including torque wrenches, screwdrivers, and drills.
Ability to read and write in English.
Knowledgeable in GMP and Device History Record (DHR) practices.
Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Previous experience following documented procedures.
Experience with integration is a plus.
High School Diploma or GED.
Non-jumpy work history with good attendance references.

Work Environment
This role is based in a regulated manufacturing environment that is clean, climate-controlled, and well-lit. The position involves 80% standing at a work station, 15% walking, and up to 5% sitting. Each individual will have their own work station with height-adjustable tables and anti-fatigue mats.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chaska, Minnesota.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
