Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Plant Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems, including both commercial and industrial applications. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems within a manufacturing facility. The Electrician will work on various projects, including renovations and new builds, and will utilize a variety of tools and equipment to complete tasks efficiently and safely.

Duties

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues in a timely and effective manner
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems
• Collaborate with other tradespeople on renovation projects to integrate electrical systems effectively.
• Work Overtime as required / On-Call duties
• Document all work performed, including any changes made to existing systems.

Experience

• Valid Journeyman Electrician License in Texas
• Proven 3-5 years experience as an Electrician in commercial or industrial settings is preferred.
• Familiarity with low voltage systems is a plus.
• Proficient in using voltmeters, ohmmeters, and other hand tools related to electrical work.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams related to electrical installations.
• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work.
