Additional Info

What you will need:

  • Knowledge of HACCP, Food Safety and QA measuring and testing equipment which includes working knowledge of quality system requirements.
  • Able to read and write procedures, update existing and create new Food Safety manuals.
  • Computer literate with Microsoft, Redzone, Heavy Connect, Produce Pro or any other QC/QA data software systems.
  • Able to always maintain confidentiality in all aspects of the job.
  • Ability to work occasional weekends.
  • A valid Drivers License with a clean DMV driving record.
  • Pass pre-placement drug/alcohol screen, physical and functional capacity evaluation.

What will set you apart:

  • Four-year degree in Biology, Food Science, or related field preferred but not required in lieu of direct experience.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Must develop, train, and assess the performance of subordinates.
  • Bi-lingual English/Spanish, a plus
