Job Title: Production Technician - 2nd Shift
Location: Mesa, AZ
Shift Hours: Monday to Thursday, 12:00 PM - 10:30 PM
Job Description:
Are you a detail-oriented professional with a passion for manufacturing excellence? We are seeking a dedicated Production Technician to join our team on the 2nd shift. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of equipment, maintaining product quality, and contributing to our continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Safety and Security: Adhere to safety, health, and environment (SHE) protocols. Report any incidents or risks to management and promote a secure work environment.

Manufacturing Excellence: Participate in initiatives to optimize manufacturing processes and achieve best-in-class standards.
Equipment Operation: Set up, operate, adjust, and clean equipment for product production. Perform minor preventative maintenance.
Quality Control: Conduct in-process quality checks, maintain accurate product documentation, and ensure compliance with relevant laws and company policies.
Material Handling: Move raw, intermediate, and finished products using standard material handling equipment, including pallet jacks and overhead cranes.
Problem Solving: Identify and resolve issues related to equipment, work orders, and product quality. Suggest process improvements and safety precautions.
Training and Participation: Participate in near-miss investigations, root cause analysis (RCA), job safety analysis (JSA), and special task teams. Maintain required training certifications.
Hazardous Materials Handling: Handle and manage hazardous materials and waste according to regulations. Respond to emergencies involving hazardous waste.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing setting, preferably in textile or composites production, or equivalent military technical experience.
Knowledge of safety procedures, equipment operation, and quality control.
Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to perform manual material handling and heavy lifting.
Basic computer skills (Word and Access).
Ability to operate forklifts and overhead cranes.
Skills:
Attention to detail and ability to detect defects.
Mechanical skills and knowledge of equipment assembly.
Ability to follow directions and maintain accurate records.
Effective oral and written communication skills in English.
