Job Title: QC Inspector

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced QC Inspector who is proficient in reading and interpreting documents such as procedures, work instructions, specifications, drawings, and purchase orders. The ideal candidate should have knowledge of inspection of electronic subassemblies and PCBs, with familiarity in ISO 9001, AS9100, and IPC spec requirements being a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform receiving clerk duties and quality inspection of incoming parts.

• Interpret documents for procedures, work instructions, specifications, drawings, and purchase orders.

• Monitor the published production schedule and select open jobs by due date.

• Review shop order documentation to ensure all specified operations and inspections are completed and signed off.

• Conduct visual inspection of received parts.

• Quality inspection

• Inventory management

• Visual inspection

• Use of micrometers and calipers

• Quality control

• Blueprint reading

• Knowledge of AS9100 and ISO 9001

• In-process inspection

• Geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T)

• Use of multimeters

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Associate's Degree in a related field

• Experience in receiving parts

• Good communication and math skills

• Minimum of 20/25 corrected vision and good color perception

• Ability to read blueprints and drawings

Work Environment

This role is based in a clean manufacturing facility with a team environment. The facility spans 50,000 square feet and houses approximately 75 employees. The work schedule is the first shift, from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Horsham, Pennsylvania.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
