Assembly Technician -- Weekly Pay

Pay: $18-$19 per hour

Assemble parts according to drawings and instructions meeting quality and quantity objectives. Verify part accuracy by using various measuring equipment and gauges. Complete necessary paperwork on line as needed. Quality check parts in the assigned process. Assist new employees with learning how to operate equipment, reading specification sheets, drawings, and quality plans. Read work orders, follow work instructions, drawings, and/or receive verbal instructions. Assemble, position, and align parts in specified relationships to each other. Rotation to all departmental jobs within this job classification. Attend training as required. Adhere to quality and safety systems or maintenance of quality and safety standards. Special projects as assigned.

Essential Skills

• Ability to read and write English.

• Ability to stand for 8-10 hours/day.

• 6+ months experience reading work instructions or blueprints.

• 6+ months experience on a computer.

• 6+ months experience in a job where you stay in one spot all day.

• 6+ months experience in an assembly role.

Work Environment

This is one of the nicest production environments, allowing everyone to work peacefully and calmly at their workstations. The facility is very well-lit and climate-controlled due to handling power strips. The team size for 3rd shift is 50.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
