Job Title: General Assemblers: 1st Shift

Job Description

Under limited supervision, you will assemble and pack finished metal and plastic fabricated parts and cabling components for the production of conveyor systems. You may also perform final inspection and testing as required. As an Electrical and Machine Assembler/Builder, you will work closely with Design Engineering and Project Managers to build electrical panels, test, troubleshoot, field wire, and assist with machine power-ups.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and pack finished metal and plastic fabricated parts and cabling components for conveyor systems

• Perform final inspection and testing as required

• Work closely with Design Engineering and Project Managers to build electrical panels

• Test, troubleshoot, and field wire electrical panels

• Assist with machine power-ups

Essential Skills

• Ability to assemble using hand and power tools

• Proficiency in reading and interpreting production prints is a plus

• Experience with assembly, hand tools, power tools, and blueprints

• General labor and assembly line experience

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in inspection and packaging

• Ability to use tape measures and other measuring tools

Work Environment

You will work in a manufacturing environment with a mid-sized team of around 100 employees. The dress code includes jeans, steel-toed boots, and a shirt. The work hours for the 1st shift are from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cannon Falls, Minnesota.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
