Job Title: Panel Assembler

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Panel Builder to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical standards and the ability to work independently. This role involves assembling and wiring control panels according to provided schematics, ensuring high-quality and error-free products.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain working knowledge of applicable electrical standards such as NEMA, NEC, UL, IEC.

  • Work efficiently without direct supervision.

  • Wire panel devices according to provided electrical schematics.

  • Route and bundle wires and cables neatly and according to established electrical standards.

  • Check work to ensure error-free products.

  • Keep red-lines of any changes required during manufacturing and submit to supervisor upon project completion.

  • Maintain a neat, efficient, and safe workplace.

  • Provide all tools necessary to perform the job function.

Essential Skills

  • Ability to follow and understand assembly instructions, including drawings, prints, and electrical schematics.

  • Ability to layout and mount components.

  • Ability to wire assembled components from simple schematics and/or wire lists.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with panel building, panel wiring, and control panels.

  • Knowledge of electrical wiring, blueprints, and electrical assembly.

  • Experience with machine building, mounting components, drilling, and tapping.

  • Occasionally assist in employee development and continuous improvement.

Work Environment

Work on the shop floor alongside other panel builders. The position offers two shifts: 1st shift from 6:00 AM to 3:30 PM and 2nd shift from 3:30 PM to 12:30 AM with an additional $2 per hour for the second shift.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sussex, Wisconsin.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.00/hr.
