Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join our team in Dover, OH. This role offers a competitive hourly rate of $28.70-$32.20, with a Dupont Schedule of 4-3-3 day shifts (6 AM - 6 PM). The Maintenance Electrician will be responsible for industrial electrical maintenance and troubleshooting, working with a range of equipment and electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform industrial electrical maintenance and troubleshooting from 12v-480v and 3 phase.

• Troubleshoot electrical circuits, motors, breakers, lighting, control boxes/panels, machine controls, sensors, switches, photo eyes, and more.

• Assist with special installations and projects.

• Work on equipment and machinery such as heat exchangers, pumps, mixers, boiler/steam systems, material handlers, filtration systems, storage tanks, and more.

• Understand and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints.

• Perform point-to-point wiring and diagnosis.

Essential Skills

• 4+ years of electrical maintenance experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.

• Proficiency in industrial electrical maintenance, both preventative and corrective.

• Experience with motors, sensors, switches, photo eyes, circuits, breakers, panels, and variable drives.

• Ability to read and understand schematics and blueprints.

• Experience working with 12v-480v electric systems and 3 phase power.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with electrical automation, instrumentation, and robotics is a plus.

• Knowledge of pneumatics and pumps is beneficial.

• Previous experience in chemical manufacturing is highly desirable.

• Skills in troubleshooting, installation, conduit work, field service, maintenance, preventive maintenance, and PLC troubleshooting.

• Familiarity with Siemens control, Allen Bradley control, and Fanuc control systems.

• Experience with mechanical systems, wiring, repair, schematics, electronics, valves, and motors.

Work Environment

The starting rate is $28.71 during initial training, increasing to $32.21 upon successful completion of the electrical assessment, with a further increase to $33.21 twelve months from the hire date. The work schedule follows a Dupont Schedule with 4 days on, 3 days off, 3 days on, 1 day off, 3 days on, 3 days off, and 4 days on, with 7 days off every 28 days optionally. The role involves working in an industrial chemical manufacturing environment, both indoors and outdoors as needed. The company is unionized, and employees may rotate on call for an 11-day straight work period when required. The company is solution-oriented, private, and places a strong emphasis on safety.

The pay range for this position is $64480.00 - $72800.00/yr.
