Complete visual inspection of the raw product on the conveyor and pick out major defects in the product Responsible for keeping the conveyors, cutters, surge hoppers, floor, front, north, and south sides of the dryer to C stage free from product buildup Sanitize all process equipment via procedures established by the quality Mix chemicals and/or additives required for the process Responsible for consistent product flow from holding bins to steam peelers Ensure the working area around the steam peeler remains clean and free from debris, including floor, flumes, conveyors, bins, equipment, and wastewater areas Inspect rock traps and document findings Responsible for recording required information on paperwork Ensure all equipment from the end of the dryer forward is functioning properly and the product is flowing smoothly Visually monitor the metal detector and notify the Quality Assurance shift worker if the metal detector rejects any product#worknow
