Job Title: Panel Assembler
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Panel Assembler to join our team. This role involves the assembly and wiring of electrical control panels, inspections, repairs, and installations of electrical systems.
Responsibilities
Assemble and wire electrical control panels to electrical schematics including Variable Frequency Drives, Soft Starts, and custom control panels using Programmable Logic Controllers or relay logic.
Read and understand electrical schematics, including knowledge of schematic symbols, panel components, and general wiring practices.
Ensure proper sizing of power cabling per the National Electrical Code (NEC).
Operate hand and power tools including drills, jig saws, knockout punches, and electric/hydraulic crimpers.
Use computer skills to print wire and component labels and retrieve component layout photos.
Assemble components to back pans and enclosures and wire them according to the electrical schematic.
Maintain good and safe housekeeping practices.
Comply with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements.
Essential Skills
Ability to read and understand electrical schematics.
Proficiency in using a tape measure.
Detail-oriented with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Physical ability to bend, lift up to 50 lbs, and stand for extended periods.
Previous experience as a panel builder is preferred.
Formal technical training is a plus.
Knowledge of proper sizing of power cabling per NEC.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Journeyman license.
Experience in troubleshooting, conduit bending, and wiring.
Familiarity with using Programmable Logic Controllers or relay logic.

Work Environment
You will work in an industrial area involving manual labor. The role requires compliance with PPE requirements and the ability to work in various construction sites. The environment includes assembling mobile units and using various technologies and equipment.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $25.00/hr.
