Job Title: Assembler

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated assembler. This role requires a mix of mechanical and electrical assembly tasks, including reading blueprints, performing electrical terminations, threading pipe, bending conduit and tubing, and other smaller mechanical assemblies.

Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret drawings and blueprints.

  • Use basic hand tools for mechanical and electrical assembly.

  • Perform electrical terminations, thread pipe, bend conduit and tubing.

  • Conduct smaller mechanical assembly tasks.

  • Work with small tubing ranging from 1/2" to 3".

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Work Environment

The work environment is a non-climate controlled fabrication facility located in Houston, TX. The facility has large fans to maintain a bearable temperature. The team consists of about 15 workers who are cross-trained in both electrical and mechanical assembly. The dress code includes steel-toe boots and jeans. The typical work schedule is from 6:00am to 4:00pm, Monday through Thursday, and an 8-hour shift on Friday, with occasional extended hours based on production needs. During summer, work starts at 5:00am to avoid the heat.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Houston, Texas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $17.00/hr.
