Description
We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Divisional/Plant Controller based in Clio, South Carolina, 29525, United States. In this role, you will be entrusted with the financial management of our operations, ensuring the highest standards of accuracy and compliance. You will also be collaborating with various departments to align financial strategies with operational goals.

Responsibilities:
• Oversee all financial operations within the plant, including inventory-related cash management and financial reporting
• Foster a high-performance work environment through the supervision and mentorship of a staff accountant
• Ensure the integrity of financial data by complying with internal controls and regulatory requirements
• Work closely with department heads to integrate financial strategies with operational objectives and facilitate decision-making processes
• Optimize financial workflows and enhance reporting accuracy by identifying and implementing process improvements
• Regularly update senior management on financial performance, discrepancies, and potential risks.
Requirements
NETSUITE and a minimum of 10 years of experience in a financial role, preferably as a Divisional/Plant Controller, is required.
• Demonstrated proficiency in all key accounting functions is essential.
• Proven expertise in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) is necessary.
• Practical experience in using NetSuite software for financial management is a must.
• Familiarity with the Annual Standard Cost process is required.
• Prior experience in the manufacturing sector is a significant plus.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities are necessary.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills are required.
• A bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is mandatory.
• A detail-oriented certification such as CPA or CMA is highly desirable.
