JOB OBJECTIVE:To maintain electrical equipment at Power Plants, Substations, Pump Stations, Wastewater Treatment Facilities, Wells, Solar Arrays, and other Easton Utilities Commission (EUC) facilities. This is a full-time, non-exempt position with on-call requirements.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

For placement at Industrial Electrician II: Hiring range $27.60/hr. or higher depending upon experience and qualifications.

  • Total of three (3) to five (5) years related electrical experience.
  • Must have a thorough working knowledge of electricity and electronics or equivalent electrical and electronics training.
  • Must be familiar with the NEC, NESC, NETA, and NFPA 70 E standards.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office products.
  • Must have a good working knowledge of basic electricity and electronics or equivalent electrical and electronics training.
  • Must have the ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and electronic schematics.
  • Must know how to use electrical tools such as digital multimeters, and power supplies.
  • Must be available as needed to provide technical support during electrical outages, generator startups, and weather-related emergencies.
  • Must be able to work from heights such as ladders, towers, and other structures.
  • Regular, reliable attendance is a requirement of this job.
  • Must be familiar with the NESC and standards.
  • Must have a valid drivers license.
  • Must be part of an on-call rotation.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:Must have a high school diploma or equivalent, possess certification in electrical technology, or have three years of related electrical experience.
