Job Overview:

Bee Sweet Citrus is seeking an optimistic, organized and motivated student who is currently pursuing a degree in Agriculture Communications or Mass Communications and Journalism (MCJ) to assist with the company’s communications department. This internship will require a minimum of 15 hours a week. Internships typically last three months, however, this internship may be extended based on your 90-day evaluation.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Assist with all matters relating to social media, including but not limited to:

  • Social listening

  • Social analytics

  • Social strategies

  • Content creation

  • Editing videography and photography

  • Assist with newsletter content & email marketing

  • Assist with all communications project(s) pertaining to employee and grower relations

  • Assist with various company and industry-wide events, including but not limited to:

  • Tours

  • On-site employee events

  • Trade show development

    Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Strong foundation in English literacy and grammar

  • Familiar with AP style of writing

  • Proficient with platforms such as Canva, Lightroom, Hootsuite, and Promo

  • Has a foundation in editing videography and photography in social media apps and supporting platforms

  • Must be willing to collaborate and communicate effectively with all departments

  • Strong preference for someone bilingual in English/Spanish

    Experience

  • Must be enrolled in an accredited university pursuing a degree in Agriculture Communications, Mass Communication & Journalism (MCJ), or related degrees

    Pay Offered/Benefits

  • $17.50 per hour
