JOB REQUIREMENTS: 1. Enters sales orders and acknowledges ship dates. 2. Ensures pricing on incoming orders matches quotes. 3. Revises production schedules and issues work orders to suit order changes, cancellations, and/or revised forecasts. 4. Reports on weekly/monthly planning as requested. 5. Serves as intermediary between customers and operations to ensure customer demands and capacity constraints align. 6. Works with customers in the event of failure to meet shipment deadlines, in response to information requests, and in a relationship-building fashion. 7. Researches late parts and identifies and brings bottlenecks to manufacturing leadership attention. 8. Participates in cycle counts of inventory, including initiating counts, physical counting of items, data entry into computer system, investigating discrepancies, and implementing corrective action plans. ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to ensure smooth production operations. Strong analytical abilities to interpret data, identify trends, and make informed decisions. Ability to clearly convey production schedules, changes, and requirements to team members and management. In-depth understanding of manufacturing processes and workflow. Awareness of the constraints and capabilities of production equipment and workforce.
