Job Description:
Summary
Working under the direction of the Superintendent of Maintenance Field Operations, incumbent will organize and implement programs to monitor the operation of the Citys combined, sanitary sewer and stormwater collection systems. The Program Manager will analyze a variety of data to classify types of overflows and notify the public and regulatory agencies as required by the Citys applicable regulations. Incumbent will recommend maintenance programs and identifies strategies and capital improvement projects to reduce overflows as required by the EPA and Indiana Department of Environmental Management. Coordinates activities between various departments within City Utilities. The incumbent is expected to exercise good judgment, independence, initiative, and professional expertise in conducting day-to-day operations. All work duties and activities must be performed in accordance with City and department policies and procedures as well as federal, state, and local regulations. At all times, the incumbent maintains absolute confidentiality of all work-related matters, including personnel records and all associated information.
