Job Duties/Scope Of Work This position is responsible for creating corrective maintenance and periodic maintenance work packages within the work management system for the Physical Security Program. This individual will be required to provide planning of work based on programmatic plans, system upgrade schedules, changes to systems due to DOE order implementation, and end of functional life. Must possess and maintain a DOE "L" level security clearance. Duties include, but are not limited to the following: •Screening of proposed work scope and hazards against HMIS procedures. •Preparation of work tickets, documents, and packages per HMIS procedures. •Interface with management, work control, engineers, and security professionals to ensure proper planning of work scope is captured. •Obtain and provide feedback to customers to ensure work meets requirements/changes. •Facilitate facility walkdowns and/or planning meetings to coordinate work scope. •Draft Plant Forces Work Reviews (PFWR) to ensure work meets Davis-Bacon Act requirements. •Closeout work packages as work completes to ensure work package documentation meets HMIS procedure requirements. •Assist in development of and apply HMIS procedure requirements to work package procedures. •Implement and maintain the Periodic Maintenance process per HMIS procedures. Basic Qualifications •BA/BS degree, plus five (5) years of related experience, preferable with Department of Energy (DOE) or Work Control experience; -OR- equivalent combination of education and experience. •Strong analytical, organizational, and writing skills. With the ability to analyze processes and communicate them clearly through written and verbal communication. •Ability to work within a team composed of various organizations and skills. •Ability to perform with little direction and the use of critical thinking skills to maximize job efforts and support the security mission. •Uncompromised level of integrity and a strong sense of character. •Adaptable to change and ability to work within change to produce positive results. •Working knowledge and excellent proficiency of Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and Adobe software. •Ability to multi-task and manage numerous taskings at the same time with competing priorities without losing overall focus on the mission. •Ability to process various reports and produce summary reports. •Ability to navigate and operate in a work control program to produce work procedures. Desired Qualifications •Previous qualification as a work planner. •Previous PM coordinator experience. •Previous records management experience. •Previous experience within a work control system such as Job Control System (JCS) or other applicable software. •Previous experience working with procedures within a government agency such as DOE. •Previous report writing experience. •Previous work control experience. •Previous National Environmental Protection Agency (NEPA) experience. •Possess a DOE "L" level security clearance or equivalent.
