Anesthesia Technician -Full-time- Evenings - Main OR - St. Mary's Health Care System - Athens, GA

Position Purpose:

The Anesthesia Tech will work in the Main OR within St. Mary's Hospital in Athens GA.

What you will do:

This position will carry out routine perioperative patient care duties and related activities under the direct supervision of Anesthesia/Main-OR/Pre-op Holding/Perioperative Manager/Surgical Services Director. This position is a PRN position

What you will need:

  • A: Licensure/Certification/Registration : BLS certification required. Anesthesia Tech Certification preferred. B. Education: Must be a high school graduate and successful completion of an educational program OR competencies specific to Anesthesia Tech. C: Experience: At least 6 months of employment in an OR setting as Anesthesia Tech or similar role. Phlebotomy and EKG training preferred.
