INTERMEDIATE ARCHITECT Concept and Schematic Design (10% of the time): analyze site information & program requirement and formalize building strategy and design concept. Design Development (10% of time): Review building codes compliance, coordinate with engineering consultants, conduct material research and develop building details. Construction Drawing Production (30% of time): Research and develop building system and details, coordinate with engineering consultants, finalize drawing sets for building permit and agency review, and assist with bidding and project procurement. Construction Administration (50% of time): Coordinate with owner, construction manager, contractors and engineers when responding to RFIs and reviewing shop drawings. Use Revit BIM, AutoCAD, Rhino, Grasshopper, Vray, Enscape, Bluebeam, Adobe Creative Suite Photoshop, Illustrator & InDesign.
Educational and experience requirements: Bachelor of Architecture + 3 years experience in any related professional architectural design occupations + NYS Registered Architect License
