Job Title: Mechanical Assembler

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled composite and metals assembler to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in assembling components using both composite materials and metals, ensuring high-quality standards and adherence to safety protocols. Regular and predictable attendance is required.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble composite and metal components according to engineering specifications and blueprints.

  • Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment for assembly tasks.

  • Conduct inspections of assembled parts to ensure compliance with quality standards.

  • Collaborate with engineering and quality assurance teams to troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues.

  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment adhering to safety regulations.

  • Document assembly processes and maintain accurate records of work performed.

  • Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.

Essential Skills

  • Proven experience in composite and metals assembly, preferably in the aerospace or manufacturing industry.

  • Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.

  • Familiarity with various assembly techniques and tools used in composite and metal fabrication.

Work Environment

This position is 100% onsite in a manufacturing environment. Expect exposure to noise and varying temperatures. You will need to work well with others and keep your workstation clean. The role requires the ability to lift and carry heavy materials (up to 35 lbs) and work in various positions for extended periods. Successful completion of training is a contingency for all assignments.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Salt Lake City, Utah.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
