| Physical Requirements | The physical requirements of this position include: occasionally lifting, pushing, and/or pulling objects up to 50lbs; sitting for extended periods of time with intermittent repetitive motions (such as typing), occasionally standing and/or walking with objects between 10-25lbs; and regular job related travel. |

| Job Summary | The Kentucky Regional Extension Center (Kentucky REC) is currently seeking a Technical Project Specialist I to be responsible for implementing process improvement; project planning and implementation; customer service; professional and staff development, and progress reporting for practices. The Technical Project Specialist will work with multiple stakeholders across the state on Quality Improvement projects; gathering and capturing provider data; developing remediation plans; educating and assisting providers on federal regulations; and tracking progress for project purposes. In addition, the Technical Project Specialist I will facilitate HIT and non-HIT projects such as Quality Improvement, Promoting Interoperability and HIPAA Privacy and Security and other initiatives as required. The Kentucky REC serves as a trusted advisor to health care organizations, clinicians and leaders across the state, helping them to manage the complex and changing world of health care. There is an IEBC being considered. |
