Description

We are offering an exciting short-term contract employment opportunity for a SEC Reporting Manager in Indianapolis, Indiana. This role is pivotal in preparing financial statements and disclosures in accordance with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) regulations. The individual will be deeply involved in the accurate and timely reporting of financial information, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and contributing to technical accounting research.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately prepare, review and file SEC reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

• Assist in the creation of financial statements, including footnotes and Management’s Discussion and Analysis (MD& A).

• Collaborate effectively with internal departments and external auditors to guarantee comprehensive and precise reporting.

• Conduct technical accounting research and support the implementation of new accounting standards.

• Keep abreast of changes in SEC regulations and US GAAP, ensuring company-wide compliance.

• Actively participate in the month-end and quarter-end close processes, focusing on financial reporting.

• Execute account reconciliations and prepare necessary supporting schedules.

• Work in synergy with cross-functional teams such as accounting, tax, and legal to aid in filing requirements and special projects.

• Provide necessary documentation and assist with auditor inquiries to facilitate the audit process.

Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role or field.

• Proficient in SEC Reporting and familiar with SEC Regulations.

• Proven experience with Form 10-Q.

• Skilled in using Workiva for financial reporting.

• Demonstrated ability to handle Disclosures professionally.

• Capability to Prepare Financial Statements accurately and timely.

• Experience in Reviewing Financial Statements for accuracy and completeness.

• Ability to Analyze Financial Statements and derive meaningful insights.

• Proven skills in Creating Presentations that are clear and engaging.

• Experience in delivering Executive Presentations confidently and effectively.
