Job Description

The Transformer Testing QA/QC Specialist position is responsible for field-testing, testing training, test equipment inventory, equipment recalibration, and final test report preparation. A qualified candidate in this position will provide excellent customer service while leading, safety, quality, training.

Reports directly to TR Service & Warranty Manager. Effective communication and collaboration with Project Managers (PMs), Business Development Managers (BDMs), and QTC Manager is required.

The selected candidate will support the preparation of proposals, business plans, proposal work statements and specifications, operating budgets, and financial terms/conditions of contract.

Your role will involve contributing to innovation, growth, quality, and efficient processes that adhere to the client's standards and meet customer and competitive requirements. You'll help promote our strong commitment to safety for Service Center employees consistent with existing safe working procedures/practices.

Provide timely and completed documentation of work performed and ensure all test data is submitted.

Provide regular updates to management on work performed.

Management of all test equipment and accurate inventory of each asset. Will also be responsible for the upkeep and calibration of all test equipment & assets.

Develop and maintain ongoing maintenance schedules for test equipment. Willi also review test data during testing for accuracy and reporting.

Compiles all test data into final report and serves as first line QA/QC of all data. Additionally, prepares final test report as deliverable and submits to testing manager for final QA/QC.

Skills and Requirements

• 6-10 years of experience with QA/QC Electrical Testing, Data reviewing, and test reporting

• Expert level skill in one or more of: Distribution, Power, and Transmission electrical substation equipment in power ranges of Low Voltage (4160V -- 13kV), Medium Voltage (13kV -- 69kV) or High Voltage (69kV -- 800 kV)

• Transformer Electrical Testing, troubleshooting, and result interpretation null
