Job Title: Quality Inspector

Job Description

The Quality Inspector will perform receipt and evaluation inspections of complex components and assemblies using pre-set inspection plans. The Inspector will perform inspection of aircraft parts and certify the parts under FAA/EASA/TCCA Part 21 specifications before shipping them out to customers using SAP software.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct material inspections.

  • Perform visual inspections of aircraft parts.

  • Certify aircraft parts under FAA/EASA/TCCA Part 21 specifications.

  • Maintain required documentation for traceability.

  • Utilize SAP software for inspection tasks.

Essential Skills

  • 1-3 years of maintenance experience with knowledge of aircraft operations, systems, and practices OR 1-3 years of manufacturing experience under FAA FAR Part 21, EASA Part 21G, or TCCA Part 21.

  • Familiarity with aerospace quality control and quality assurance systems.

  • Experience with AS9100 / AS9110 / AS9120 standards.

  • Experience with First Article Inspection.

  • Proficiency in using calipers, micrometers, and depth gauges.

  • Valid passport and driver's license.

  • US citizenship is required.

  • Computer literacy, specifically with SAP software.

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Familiarity with aircraft maintenance and parts inspection.

Work Environment

Located minutes away from the Washington Dulles International Airport and approximately 30 miles from the U.S. Capitol, this site serves as a major parts distribution hub in the Americas. The facility is a 24/7 fulfillment center, featuring an Aircraft on Ground (AOG) support desk and Quality Assurance (QA) operations. Our 20,000-square-foot warehouse features brand-new technology aimed at increasing productivity. There are four total openings on the first shift: Mon-Fri (6AM-3PM or 7AM-4PM).

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dulles, Virginia.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $28.00/hr.
