INDUSTRIAL SECURITY ANALYST
SpaceX is looking for a Multidisciplinary Industrial Security Officer to serve as the primary coordinator for classified executive meetings and visits, as well as providing general security support for the D.C. office SCIF, located in SpaceX’s Washington, DC office. This is a chance to fill a critical role within a dynamic and high-tempo environment working on programs that are pushing the boundaries of industry and technology. A successful candidate will be a self-starter and problem-solver and will possess the ability to convey security requirements to a diverse group of technical personnel.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Support executive level classified meetings, briefings, and visits
Coordinate with White House, Congressional, OSD, and military service level security offices
Attend and support various customer meetings and working groups
Prepare and account for briefing materials
Submit classified visits, parking, and access control requests
Facilitate associated badging and access
Assist with initial security clearance briefings, debriefings, and security-centric education
Support, and in some instances own, compliance inspections
Conduct security related inquiries
Assist with basic communications security (COMSEC) functions and help maintain accountability and compliance
Track and submit reportable actions such as travel and foreign contacts
Support the Government Affairs, Government Sales, and Contracts
Other duties as assigned
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or equivalency certificate
2+ years security-related experience performing NISPOM related security responsibilities.
4+ years security-related experience performing responsibilities specifically within a SCI/SAP environment
Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility. Note that an active clearance may provide the opportunity for you to work on sensitive SpaceX missions. If so, you will be subject to pre-employment drug and random drug and alcohol testing
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
Experience working independently, with minimal supervision and guidance and ability to self-identify areas of improvement
Strong knowledge of the NISPOM, DoD SAP Security Manuals, Intelligence Community Directives (ICDs), and related security policies and procedures
Familiarity with DISS, NBIS, CORE, TALON and JADE
Familiarity with SIMS
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to favorably complete a U.S. Government CI scope polygraph
Ability to travel in support of mission requirements
Willingness to work overtime or weekends as needed in support of mission-critical deadlines and milestones
