Our client, a leading snack food manufacturer, is seeking an Automation/Electrical Control Technician to join their team. This is a direct hire position!
As a Automation/Electrical Control Technician, you will be part of the engineering department supporting the production team. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a hands-on approach which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Automation/Electrical Control Technician
Location: Hanover, PA
Shift: Night shift, 5:30pm to 5:30am, Monday through Thursday with overtime as needed
What's the Job?
Troubleshoot and repair manufacturing equipment, including motor controls, DC/AC drives, and packaging machines.
Review and modify existing equipment to meet safety, quality, and production requirements.
Program, troubleshoot, and repair sensors, scanners, and vision systems.
Perform control system upgrades and integrate new or existing equipment.
Participate in continuous improvement activities to enhance processes and efficiency.
What's Needed?
5+ years of prior experience, preferably in the food manufacturing industry.
Experience managing large-scope projects and capital improvements.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to lead and professionally develop others.
Knowledge of safety and quality control procedures.
