OVERVIEW

The Jr. Logistics Coordinator will be supporting the seamless movement of goods and ensuring that our supply chain operations run efficiently. You will assist in coordinating logistics activities, tracking shipments, and maintaining accurate documentation to optimize our logistics processes.

Who You Will Work With

In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Planning, Direct Procurement, R&D, Facilities, and Finance to ensure the smooth coordination and execution of proactive spend management. You will collaborate with current and potential suppliers and 3rd parties to optimize indirect spend and capital expenditures.

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented entry level Jr. Logistics Coordinator to join our dynamic logistics team at PIM. This role is crucial in supporting the seamless movement of goods and ensuring that our supply chain operations run efficiently. You will assist in coordinating logistics activities, tracking shipments, and maintaining accurate documentation to optimize our logistics processes.

• Assist in the coordination of shipment schedules, ensuring timely delivery of goods

• Monitor and track shipments, providing updates to internal teams and stakeholders

• Maintain accurate records of inventory and shipment documentation

• Collaborate with external vendors, carriers, and partners to streamline logistics operations

• Support the logistics team in resolving any shipping or delivery issues that may arise

• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance logistics processes

   

   

   

Qualifications

• Familiarity with logistics software and tools

• Verbal and written communication skills

• Basic understanding of supply chain principles and practices

• Proficiency in using logistics management systems and tracking software

• Understanding of inventory management principles

• Experience with data entry and reporting tools

• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

• Adaptability to changing priorities and conditions

• A positive attitude and eagerness to learn and grow
