Job Description:

Liaise with railroad authorities to coordinate track outages, maintenance activities, and construction projects. Obtain necessary permits, approvals, and clearances from railroad authorities for construction activities within railroad infrastructure. Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of railroad operating procedures, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements. Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and field personnel to ensure adherence to railroad specifications and standards. Maintain accurate records of all communications, permits, approvals, and correspondence related to railroad coordination activities. Stay updated on changes to railroad policies, procedures, and regulations, ensuring ongoing compliance and adherence to best practices. Manage project submittals, ensuring timely submission and approval from railroad authorities. Act as a liaison between various stakeholders, including railroad authorities and construction teams, to resolve issues or concerns that arise during a projects lifecycle. Software use: AutoCAD, Bluebeam, ASITE, ProCore, and Bentley MicroStation. Travel to various worksites in the NYC Metro Area 80% /week. Bachelors degree in architecture technology (must have Construction Management concentration), Civil Engineering or CONSTRUCTION Management + 2 years related construction engineering/ management occupation and MEP experience.

Special requirements: Must have OSHA 30 hours certification. MTA NYC track Safety Certification MTA Long Island Railroad Worker Protection Training Certification
