Job Description:As an Electrician Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment. This role requires technical expertise, a strong understanding of electrical systems, and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, and equipment
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams
- Diagnose electrical problems using appropriate testing devices
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems
- Ensure compliance with electrical codes and safety standards
- Collaborate with other technicians and contractors to complete projects
- Document all work performed and maintain accurate records
- Provide excellent customer service and support
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid electrician license or certification
- Proven experience as an Electrician Technician or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, and troubleshooting techniques
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams
- Proficiency with electrical testing tools and equipment
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate degree or technical certification in electrical technology
- Experience with industrial or commercial electrical systems
- Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and automation systems
