Description

We are in search of a Safety and Risk Manager to join our team in PLANO, Texas. This role is integral to our Service industry operations, ensuring all programs align with the Cleaning Industry Management Standard (CIMS) and CIMS-Green Building criteria. The Safety and Risk Manager will collaborate with operations team leaders and coordinate with operations leadership. Additionally, the role involves managing health and safety programs, claims and risk management, and contributing to the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP).

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the compliance of all programs with the Cleaning Industry Management Standard (CIMS) and CIMS-Green Building criteria

• Partner with operations team leaders to maintain compliance, including conducting training and audits

• Update, review, and revise documentation, policies, and procedures to ensure continuous compliance with CIMS and CIMS-GB requirements

• Carry out internal assessments to confirm continued compliance

• Manage the CIMS and CIMS-GB recertification process every two years alongside operations leadership

• Supervise organizational compliance with local, state, and federal environment, health and safety regulations

• Ensure that environmental policy and procedure manuals are available and updated at all times

• Lead and ensure compliance for safety training

• Oversee new claim notices and tender letters, ensuring they are submitted to insurance broker with timekeeping, employee contact information, and time-appropriate contract

• Coordinate responses to inquiries from insurance adjusters to support the investigative process

• Update the CDP disclosure annually for customers requesting participation

• Coordinate data collection from internal departments and translate data into the required format for CDP

• Develop and operate within budgets

• Perform other duties as assigned and requested.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years experience in a Safety and Risk Management role within the Service industry.

• Bilingual Spanish highly preferred

• Ability to travel within the US up to 50% of the time

• Demonstrated proficiency in Compliance procedures and regulations.

• Proven knowledge and experience with Environmental Safety protocols.

• Experience with Bio-Safety procedures and best practices is required.

• Familiarity with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards and regulations.

• Ability to conduct thorough Safety Audits to ensure workplace safety.

• Hands-on experience with Safety Equipment usage and maintenance.

• Proven track record of conducting effective Safety Inspections.

• Experience in delivering comprehensive Safety Training to staff.

• Demonstrated expertise in developing and implementing Risk Mitigation Strategies.
