Job Description

We are seeking a Materials Testing Technician to provide support to project managers on transportation construction projects. The ideal candidate will perform inspections of contractor operations, ensure conformance with engineering plans and specifications, conduct materials testing, measure items for payment, and maintain project and material documents.

Responsibilities

• Inspect contractor operations to ensure conformance with engineering plans and specifications.

• Perform materials testing.

• Measure items for payment.

• Maintain project and material documents.

Essential Skills

• Experience in materials testing and performing construction inspection on WisDOT construction projects.

• Knowledge of AASHTO, DOT, construction materials testing, construction inspection, ACI, concrete, and concrete testing.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50000.00 - $70000.00/yr.
