The Director of Food and Nutritional Services manages the operations of patient meal services with oversight of direct reports. Main oversight of menu selections and patient menu planning and development along with the Dietitians. The right candidate must have experience and/or training in clinical dietetics in order to manage therapeutic diet order compliancy, adjust the patient menu cycle to provide a variation in food selection while preserving nutrition focus, and make decisions related to diet restrictions. The position is responsible for coordinating with the dietitians or clinical leadership to plan menus that are varied, nutritionally balanced and appetizing.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Master's degree in Nutrition
Four or more years of experience in food services with 2+ years of experience in a supervisory capacity in food services
LICENSES/DESIGNATIONS/CERTIFICATIONS
RD License
ServSafe certification
