Job Title: QA Technician IJob Description

The primary purpose of this position is to ensure the quality of product manufactured and ensure that the Durable Consumable commodities and raw materials used in the Drug Product and Drug Substance manufacturing areas comply with quality requirements according to procedure and material specifications.

Responsibilities

• Material inspection of Durable Consumable commodities and raw material according to procedure.

• Take sampling of incoming material according to procedure and per material specifications.

• Enter results of inspections into computer systems.

• Segregate rejected materials.

• Perform visual and dimensional tests on commodities used in the Drug Substance area.

• Release incoming material in the system.

• Verify documentation generated according to procedures.

• Provide assistance to operations in accordance with environmental management, occupational health, and safety (EHS) systems and promote continuous improvement.

• Comply with all EHS procedures and policies including incident reporting, use of PPE, waste management, and disposal.

Essential Skills

• Previous Quality experience

• Previous Pharmaceutical experience

• Performing visual inspection

• High School diploma or GED with 1-3 years of experience in quality

• Basic verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish

• Knowledge of good manufacturing practices (GMP) and safety practices

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft Office

• Experience with SAP or other inventory management systems

• Experience driving forklifts and handling materials

• Basic knowledge in computer systems

Work Environment

This role is a mix between office and warehouse environments. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, with possible overtime after training. The position is 100% onsite.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
