Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Shift: 7:00pm - 3:30am (Sunday - Thursday)

Pay : Salary - $80,000 - $85,000

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our fully automated distribution center. The ideal candidate will have extensive electrical industrial maintenance experience on automated machinery, with a strong focus on PLC troubleshooting and basic programming. Experience with troubleshooting materials handling equipment (MHE) and automated picking systems (APS) is essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform PLC troubleshooting and basic programming, including modifying timing, adding alarms, and logic for additional inputs or outputs.

• Troubleshoot and upgrade materials handling equipment (MHE) and automated picking systems (APS).

• Work with control photo eyes, sensors (including proximity sensors), conveyor systems, pneumatic systems, motors, 3-phase motors, frequency drives (VFDs), motor starters, and HMIs.

• Read and interpret electrical schematics, diagrams, and ladder logic.

• Maintain facility systems including chill water systems, HVAC, cooling towers, boilers, and pumps.

Essential Skills

• Extensive electrical troubleshooting and maintenance experience.

• Proficiency in PLC troubleshooting and programming.

• Experience with industrial maintenance and automated machinery.

• Ability to work with 3-phase electrical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and schematic reading.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• High school diploma required; 2 years of trade school preferred.

• Experience with preventive maintenance and automation systems.

Work Environment

Our climate-controlled plant features extensive conveyor systems. The role requires standing for the entire shift, walking more than 20,000 steps, and climbing up and down ladders. The work schedule is Sunday through Thursday, 7 PM to 3:30 AM, or until the job is complete.

This is a Permanent position based out of Orlando, Florida.
