Job Profile: Mechanical Assembler / Assembly Technician

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepares work by reviewing assembly instructions, blueprints, and parts lists to ensure all necessary components are available for the assembly process.
• Positions parts and sub-assemblies accurately using templates or precise measurements to ensure correct placement and alignment.
• Assembles components by checking for proper fit, fastening parts and sub-assemblies, and ensuring functionality according to specifications.
• Ensures high-quality standards are maintained throughout the assembly process.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Education: High School diploma or G.E.D. required.
• Experience: Must have factory background and ability to use hand tools. (Impact Drill)
• Technical Knowledge: Ability to read and understand technical drawings and schematics to assemble complex mechanical systems and components.
• Attention to Detail: Accuracy in following assembly instructions and specifications to ensure the final product meets the required standards.
• Physical Dexterity: Ability to handle small and large parts and tools carefully to assemble components correctly.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve minor issues during the assembly process.
• Training: Employee will receive 2-3 days of intensive training and monitored closely during 90-day probationary period. 
• Pay: Starts @ $18/hr and $20/hr if hired on permanently. 
• Shift: M-F 7:15AM-4:00PM
