Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Construction Inspector with over a year of construction inspection and materials testing experience to join our team. Responsibilities

• Perform field construction inspections and materials testing

• Conduct concrete and asphalt testing

• Ensure quality control inspections are carried out accurately

• Travel to job sites within the Greater Pittsburgh area

• Complete necessary documentation and reports

• Collaborate with project engineers and construction teams

Essential Skills

• 1+ year of construction inspection/materials testing experience

• ACI Certification

• Valid driver's license and ability to submit to an MVR check

• Ability to travel to job sites within the Greater Pittsburgh area

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Diploma or GED

• ACI or Necept Certification

• Experience in field construction, project engineering, concrete testing, quality control inspection, and asphalt testing

Work Environment

This role requires spending 90% of the time on job sites and 10% in the lab and office. Employees are compensated at 80 cents per mile for driving. The company offers 9 paid holidays including New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, the day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and a Floating Birthday Holiday.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $30.00/hr.
