Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking a Sr. Accountant to join their team. As a Sr. Accountant, you will be part of the finance department supporting various teams across the organization. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Sr. Accountant

Location: Houston, TX

What's the Job?

• Apply knowledge of the company's business systems, processes, and controls to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.

• Prepare and post journal vouchers for complex accounting transactions.

• Review and monitor financial transactions for accuracy and timeliness.

• Research and resolve complex accounting issues and transactions, including related internal controls.

• Prepare, analyze, and distribute financial results, including variance explanations.

What's Needed?

• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in accounting-related roles.

• Completion of an undergraduate degree in accounting, business, or a related field.

• Knowledge of US GAAP or country-specific accounting principles.

• Demonstrated understanding of organizational structure and core businesses.

• Intermediate proficiency with financial applications and reporting.
